About Me.
I am a passionate early-career Data Analyst. I am fascinated by data and statistics, and enjoy finding elegant solutions to complex problems.
I have recently graduated from a Data Analytics Experience Accelerator, run by the company iO-Sphere, having previously graduated from a highly selective Skills Bootcamp in Data Analytics at the Government-funded educational provider Cambridge Spark.
Prior to this, I completed another previous Bootcamp, in software development, at Founders & Coders, London. My studies there included learning Node.js, React, Next.js, Express, and a number of other libraries and frameworks.
After graduating from Founders & Coders, I mentored subsequent students, and completed a Software Development internship at Octophin Digital. The Data Visualisation tab of my Portfolio page covers my work during my time at Octophin, as well as a project on UN Population Statistics that I completed for my Cambridge Spark personal portfolio project.
My enjoyment of the data side of my internship at Octophin led me to apply to for Cambridge Spark's Skills Bootcamp, for which I was successful, and from then on to iO-Sphere.
I am eager to consolidate my knowledge while progressing as a data analyst. To this end, I am currently learning Python on DataCamp, and am additionally making inroads into studying R, as well as continuing to teach myself SQL and PowerBI functionality. I am passionate about continuing to learn, including staying current on tech and data industry trends.
Outside of coding, in my spare time I volunteer as a Secretary for Sustainable Hackney, a local group devoted to sustainable projects in the borough, as well as helping push for electoral reform in the United Kingdom as part of the organisation Make Votes Matter. I also managed to convince my MP, Diane Abbott, to support the Local Electricity Scheme bill, currently making its way through Parliament, of the not-for-profit campaign group Power for People.
